The GC-FT-IR accessory is intended as a coupling unit between a gas chromatograph (GC with capillary column) and a Bruker FT-IR spectrometer. The Helios is a user-installable high-performance ATR microscope, capable of collecting internal reflection spectra from an analysis area with a diameter of 500 µm. Polarization modulation (PM) provides advantages for a variety of different techniques such as PM-IRRAS, VLD (Vibrational Linear Dichroism) and VCD (Vibrational Circular Dichroism). PA cell is based on the product from the company Gasera and it was adapted mechanically and electrically to the QuickLockTM sample compartment mechanism and DigiTectTM detector technology. The impressive mid Infrared signal-to-noise ratio is achieved. Due to high sensitivity of the novel cantilever sensor, the PA cell can be used with dry air or dry nitrogen purge or even without purge as well.
The emission adapter allows to perform measurements on solid samples at different temperature ranges from room temperature up to 400°C. It can be used to determine the temperature dependent emittance behavior of e.g. surfaces, coatings or any solid material.

With the integrating sphere, heterogeneous materials can be analyzed without sample preparation in diffuse reflection. The use of easy-to-clean sample cups, beakers and Petri dishes enable an efficient sample throughput at low cost. Many different designs of rotators are available to fit the sample form.
