Polarization modulation (PM) provides advantages for a variety of different techniques such as PM-IRRAS, VLD (Vibrational Linear Dichroism) and VCD (Vibrational Circular Dichroism). The applied double modulation techniques overcome residual atmospheric absorptions that tend to mask desired spectral information even in purged systems. In combination with Bruker’s real dual channel acquisition technique (DigiTectTM) external signal disturbances are prevented and highest signal-to-noise ratio is guaranteed.
The Polymer Stretcher provides the combination of spectroscopic measurements with rheological perturbation. The time dependence of spectral changes in polymer samples during modulated strain can be measured easily and conveniently.
The RAM II is an add-on FT Raman module that can be coupled to Bruker Optics’ VERTEX Series multi-range FTIR spectrometers. The TG-FTIR coupling designed through the joint efforts of BRUKER and NETZSCH engineers. An outstanding sensitivity for the gas analysis is provided due to low purge gas flow rates at the thermobalance, a natural, vertical gas flow around the sample, a heated furnace gas outlet, the shortest possible heated transfer line, and a beam-conforming stainless steel gas cell with a sensitive IR detector. This is supported by a comfortable integration between the Proteus ® software for thermal analysis and the OPUS software for the FTIR.
Bruker offers a wide range of beamsplitters to provide maximum experimental flexibility and optimal results. The beamsplitters cover the Far-IR (or THz) up to the VIS/UV regions.
